Miki Tachibana (橘 美希 Tachibana Miki) is the mother of Alex Tachibana and Sylphynford Tachibana.
Appearance[]
Miki has collarbone-length dark-blue hair that is tied into a ponytail that is draped over her shoulder, blue eyes that form a yellow pattern when she is excited and she has a youthful appearance that Umaru Doma, Kirie Motoba and Nana Ebina mistook her for being significantly younger.
She wears a light purple kimono with a floral design on the left collar that runs down to the lower portion. In a flashback, she wore a green kimono with her hair straight and untied. During New Years, she wears a light yellow kimono.
Personality[]
Miki is a polite and traditional young woman, but she is also very competitive and insist that she must be the best. She very similar to Sylphynford Tachibana with their habit of posing when they make their entrance and having a sound effect when they enter in the example of Sylphyn 'Shupaan!'. She is very organized and also very caring albeit in her own way to Sylphyn as well as seemingly OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) when it comes to kimonos, such as reminding Sylphyn to not lie on her back while in kimono or forcing her out of her kimono because the sleeves were not aligned properly.
She also does not like revealing her actual age. At one point, Slyhyn was about to tell her friends about how her mom had just turned a certain age. Miki immediately emerged from a hidden corridor and slid up behind her with a menacing grin, causing Slyphyn to panic and saying "Desu wa!" instead.
Background[]
Miki is first introduced when Sylphynford Tachibana brings her friends over to take pictures in a kimono. She is impressed with Umaru Doma upon seeing her, claiming that she has divine proportions as her body's numerical values adhere to the golden ratio.
She has won all of the kimono fitting contests mentioned in the series and even when Sylphyn had a slight ruffle in her kimono sleeve she refitted it in a flash (literally). She then proceeded to fit Umaru, Nana Ebina and Kirie Motoba lightning fast and the end result being that they all had a perfect fit where Miki proceeded to take a picture of all of them in their kimonos. She also affectionately refers to Sylphyn as Sylph-san/chan.
